Sophia - Found in Katy, TX
As you know, I post information on lost and found pets in the Katy, TX area. This is from the kind lady who found her.
“Here is the dog that followed my father home today (my parents are visiting Texas, and my dad was walking over by the elementary school on S. Peek Rd in Katy).
Sophia followed him home this morning, and has claimed our family. 😉 She is obviously still a puppy. She has one blue eye and one brown eye, pink above her nose, and is loving and affectionate. She has a heart shaped trinket on her collar that says “Love”, and “Sophia” is embroidered on her collar (along with a tag on her collar that has “Mimi Green” embroidered on it). We just found out that Mimi Green is the designer for the collar, if that helps.
Thank you for your help. My phone number is 281-347-0572.”

I have received two calls today regarding found pets in the Katy Area. One is a little kitten in Oak Park Trails located on South Mason between Highland Knolls and Cinco Ranch. The woman who called will send in a photo and is happy to foster for a little while but already has several pets of her own so I hope we can find the owner quickly.
Second, a large puppy was found (did not get location yet) that is named Sophie. She has one blue eye and one brown, has a pink spot on her nose and is so friendly that the finder cannot get far enough away from her to take her photo. This family has already fallen in love with Sophie and will be happy to take her in but wanted to try to find her family. They will be sending me a photo which I will post as soon as it is received.
Do you know anyone who may have lost these pets? If so, have them contact me so we can see if we have found them. All it takes is a little effort and a lot of love to make sure our pets are safely home. Another thing is all owners need to make sure their pets are micro-chipped so finding the owner is a breeze. Thank you for your kind attention, Christi.

While my usual posts cover lost or found cats and dogs, we love all of our pets and I have an unusual post today!
A Katy resident has found a beautiful Parakeet in Cross Creek Ranch on March 13, 2011 on Brandy Creek Lane. The bird has a yellow head with yellow and black feathers and a green with bluish tint body. If you have possible information about the owner, please call Karen Mayr 713-240-8831 or leave your comment here and I will make contact.
Thank you so much and help us get this lovely bird back home.

These two pups were found in Seven Meadows and turned into the Fort Bend Animal Service office. They were given a very short deadline before being put down and a wonderful neighbor of ours in Grand Lakes fostered them until today… when their owner contacted me through this blog. I was able to direct her to the foster parent and all is well. She is having the pets neutered and micro-chipped tomorrow.
A special thank you to John Murski, Grand Lakes resident and very kind animal lover, for taking these two lovely pets in until the present owner or a new family could be found to take them in. I know the owner is ecstatic about finding her beloved pets and we all owe Jim a mountain of gratitude.
This is a gentle reminder that we should all have our pets micro-chipped so that the owner can be found quickly in the event they get lost. It would have been tragic if John had not stepped up to bail these guys out of the Animal Control office in time…

As you know, as an avid animal lover, I frequently post lost or found pets in our area.
Look at that sweet face. This pretty gal was lost from her owner’s home in Lakes of Eldridge on March 2, 2011. Who wouldn’t miss such a nice pet. Please let us know if you see her or hear of someone who found a Beagle so that we can help get her home where she belongs.
You may leave a comment here or contact me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org or 281-492-5984. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

As you know, I post lost or found pets in our area of Katy, TX.
Found cat in Katy, TX
Attached are photos of a sweet cat found off Enchanted Meadows in the Sierra Meadows neighborhood of Cinco Ranch (near Cinco Ranch Boulevard and Kilpatrick Elementary).
He is about two years old and neutered. Please comment here or call Katie if you recognize this cat or think you may know the owners. Katie’s contact number is 281-923-4107 or 281-395-9417.
The people who found the cat are urgently looking for someone to foster the cat until the owners are found as she is allergic to cats and having him here is starting to get to her! They are such a wonderful animal lovers and cannot bear to take it to a shelter… thanks again for your help.
